Unrelated?: Your night sweats may or may not have anything to do with your periods. You need to start taking your temperature, not when you awaken, because it the sweating bringing the temp down, but if this happens at the same time, wake up 20 mins before the sweat and take your temp. Could be: The first thing i think of is thyroid disorder. But it's also possible to just skip a period because of stress and have night sweats because of that. I had my tubes tied 14yrs ago and my period came on every month the same time but not it's coming on at different times of the month and I have night sweats before it comes on and during that time of the month can you help me understand.

Irregular periods.: Many things can cause irregular periods. If pregnancy is not the reason, thyroid problems can, among other causes.
