I hav severe sinusitis & need surgery. Could this contribute to all of a sudden having night sweats? Nvr had b4 but mainly legs sweat, sometmes bak 2.

No: Sinusitis requiring surgical drainage will not produce systemic effects such as sweating of legs or night sweating. Latter is more of a systemic problem that might have resulted from progression of sinusitis. Chest X ray and WBC needed to further evaluate cause of additional symptoms but should follow drainage of the sinuses. ...Read more

I had surgery last january to remove an enlarged lymph node, after the surgery the node biopsy was castlemans disease. I am still having night sweats.

Castleman's disease: Is what is known as a lymphoproliferative disease and not a cancer per se but can act like a lymphoma one of the symptoms of which is night sweats. It can later be associated with lymphoma and most often treated with chemotherapy. It is not a common disease. But I am sure your doctor will be going over all of this and more with you. Please see your MD: who might refer you to an allergist/immunologist. With angioedema you should keep epinephrine handy. The allergist will sift through history and try to find a cause, which isn't present for most cases. Good luck ...Read more
