Unless there is an eczema like rash on the nipple or areola, there is no need to worry. Next time you see your doctor, have her/him check it out.

The most likely cause of your symptoms are either irritation or allergy. Irritation can be frictional or from the bra material. The allegy could be also from the bra material or any creams, perfumes or other cosmetic products you may be using in the area.
