Use pain relief med : Depending on how long the problem has been there and having just been seen, I would make her comfortable with medicines like Tylenol, (acetaminophen) esp at bedtime. If her cough worsens or if fever returns you should have her re- examined. Appears viral for now. Normal saline nose drops may help cough as well as stuffy nose. Live in dry climate. Mouth, nose, skin very dry. Constant dry nose. Is it better to sleep w/ a warm, or cool mist humidifier? Have asthma & allergies.
