I take clonazepam 1mg 3x/day for anxiety. Just got rx'd nexium (esomeprazole). Was told Nexium (esomeprazole) could block absorption of clonazepam and possibly induce withdrawal. What would be the best way to dose both meds?

Yes: If you are taking nexium/prevacid for gerd or other non-bleeding gastrointestinal issues, it won't make a whole lot of difference if you miss a dose on rare occasion. And substituting Nexium (esomeprazole) with Prevacid should be ok generally. Which NyQuil?: Turns out, there are many versions of NyQuil, each w/different medications/ingredients. So while it's wise to check for interactions, you need to be more specific. Check out http://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=1015-567,55-17410,54-16419 where I ran 2 common versions against Nexium (esomeprazole) - looks fine.
