See below: If the child is inconsolable, get him seen. The Benadryl (diphenhydramine) may have had the opposite effect than sedation. About 10% of kids will get wired with benadryl (diphenhydramine). However, due to the rash, i would get the child checked now. ...Read more

Normal in some: Your typical breast fed baby can have a little poo smear every feeding or one giant blowout every 7-10 days.Formula babies go more often and daily. If soft, I don't consider it constipation. Babes do lots of leg drawing and fuss for no particular reason, but the process may help push food along.
