Min: Gabapentin is extremely safe. It is not metabolized by the lover and is excreted unchanged by the kidney. It is also actively absorbed in the small intestine so if you drank a gallon of it, most would not even be absorbed, just pooped out. No liver/kidney/heart/stomach toxicity. Most people would not take a medicine every day to prevent a migraine that occurs once per week. Unless that migraine lasts several days.
Substitutes for topamax (topiramate) could be propranolol, magnesium, or valproate perhaps. Normally wellbutrin and propranolol are not used together, in case the mood worsens.
