Yes and No: There are laws and protocols that must be followed. Depending on the reason for coma, the prognosis may be poor, and likely, this is your concern? I'm sorry if you are in this situation. Who knows?: The comatose patient never has memory for events, but unlikely that the seizures would cause pain. However, the two week duration of problems and seizures due create concern, and this seems ununsual. Would have anticipated better seizure control by now.. Advise a meeting with your entire hospital treatment team, and get explanation of what is occurring. ...Read more
