Mri shows no disc problems. Can upper back muscles nerves cause pain in this area and refer to upper leg. Burning/prickling. Not sharp pain.
Need more info: What level of spine was the mri--cervical, thoracic or lumbar? What neurological exam findings do you have? How did you injure your back, was it one acute accident or years of wear & tear? If there is a: Herniated thoracic disc, then you could have thoracic radiculopathy, which would result in pain wrapping around from your back to sides to the front of the abdomen and chest.
