10mg Amitriptyline: Hello. This is a very low dose. I start patients this low if they are extremely sensitive to meds. Next dose up from 10mg is 25mg. You may just need an additional 15mg in your system to make the difference with your neuropathic thigh pain.In my patient population 10mg-100mg at night has worked the best.
