Nerve In Leg Twitching
Yes- it is possible: It depends on what nerves and what muscles. If you were to say however the twitching is all over, it may not be fair to say it came from the back. Do you know if you have pinched nerves in the back, or do you have twitching only? Where is the twitching, and how much is there? Maybe start by answering those last two questions. Good luck! ...Read more
The brain and spinal cord communicates with what is occurring in the internal organs and limbs by nerve fibers where are like electrical wires with insulation (myelin) and the "copper" (axon). Within brain and spinal cord these nerves connect to other nerves via synapses on both axons and dendrites. A nerve can carry information regarding sensations, and ...Read more
Annular tear L4/L5 disc. Could that cause aching in leg muscles @ night, intermittent knee weakness, numbness in lateral quad in L leg, sweating fits?
Numbness and tingling in inner thigh near testes, no pain in any body part..
If numbness in inner thigh increaes, tingling sensations in feet also?
Sciatica: The sciatic nerve travels down the whole thigh and branches off smaller nerves to the legs, feet and toes. If you have pressure on your nerve it is common to feel the pain "traveling" along the course of the nerve up or down. Hope this answers your question. ...Read more
Yes: You describe symptoms of radiculopathy which is when a nerve malfunctions due to some type of pressure on the nerve. You should see your family md for evaluation and they can do an MRI for evaluation. Of course, before surgery, you should try physical therapy and epidural steroid injections if possible. ...Read more

Please repost: and explain what you mean by a "butt" scan. Medically there's no such thing as a "butt" scan. Abandon your unfortunate tendency to use vague colloquial words like "butt" and and state EXACTLY what the scan was called. What you need is a scan of your lumbosacral spine, not your "butt." ...Read more

Feet maybe, hands no: The sciatic nerve runs from the gluteal region (your rear end) down the back of your leg, then branches to innervate the back of the thigh and leg as well as the outer part of the lower leg and then parts of the feet. An injury may cause those symptoms there, as well as problems with motion. The major nerves that serve the hands are the radial, ulnar and median. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Can piriformis syndrome cause muscle twitches in leg? If it's bothering the sciatic nerve or nerve?
Not seen that but...: I am not aware of leg twitches as being part of the complaints seen in patients with true piriformis syndrome. Pain, numbness, tingling, difficulties with ambulaton are the predominant symptoms reported as well as weakness in the leg. In women pain on sexual relations can also be seen. However, I've seen leg muscle spasms so I could believe twitches if you've been correclty diagnosed. ...Read more

Is an aching left arm and left leg a sign of peripheral neuropathy, hiv, carpal tunnel or pinched nerve?
Depends: This can be a systemic disease process (neuropathy, hiv) affecting multiple nerves at once. Carpal tunnel affect the hand specifically, not the arm. You can have two pinched nerves possibly, but one tries to explain symptoms by the most simple explanation. Consider spinal cord issues, which would affect arm and leg simultaneously. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
