Negative Side Effects To The Medifast Diet
Probably: Some data has suggested a link between diet soda consumption and metabolic syndrome, a constellation of findings associated with increased cardiovascular risk (i.e. Heart attacks and strokes). Excessive amounts of many things often have negative consequences and as a general rule I recommend using moderation as a guiding principle.See 1 more doctor answer
Refers to all the physical matter humans (like all living creatures) must take in on a recurring basis; only partially for energy. Like all life on planet humans are open systems which keep tearing down their structure & require intake of atoms/molecules from which to rebuild their structure. Intestinal lining cells replaced ~every 3 days. CaPO4 in bones ~every 6 years, ...Read more
What are some 7 day crash diet negative side effects? I have a headache and this is my 2nd day on dr. Furhmans diet
They don't work: They don't call them "crash" for nothing. Your metabolism will crash as you drastically & abruptly alter your nutritional status, sometimes with the addition of drugs. I am unfamiliar with the specific diet you name, but any diet which involves depletion of nutrients (not just "empty" calories) will cause adverse effects--consider prisoner-of-war health issues arising from extreme "diets".
There is absolutely: NO scientific information that hoodia helps lose weight, except in your wallet. Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or internet scams.
Ana Boot Camp Diet: With the Ana Boot Camp Diet would anticipate possible side effects like malnutrition, fatigue, overly rapid weight loss, dizziness, low energy level, loss of large % of muscle mass – including heart muscle, problems with sleep, electrolyte imbalances, cold sensitivity, depression, paranoia etc. It may also be the start of a pattern of unhealthy eating.See 1 more doctor answer
Unknown: Sorry, I tried to find info on "Magrim diet" but couldn't find anything reputable. I found lots of websites attempting to sell "Magrim diet pills" but again, nothing worthwhile. Rather than focus on diets where you have to buy from someone besides grocer, consider vegan/vegetarian or Mediterranean diets. Check out http://health. Usnews. Com/best-diet for more options.
Treat it as an herb: A normal, healthy person should be able to eat asian hair moss, a type of cyanobacteria (looks like a strange plant). It can be added to soups and stews, in moderate amounts, similar in amount to adding a half-cup of cilantro or bean sprouts. Variety is the key in nutrition. Problems occur when a person eats too much of just one plant, so a bit of hair moss once every week or two should be fine.
Does cabbage soup diet work ro lose weight? Any side effects? Any other certified fad diet that really work?
Diets: Fad diets are marketing ploys to promote a concept that has more to do with making money than with a well-balanced diet that promotes long-term compliance conducive with a healthy lifestyle. Many of these diets are also low calorie diets. A low calorie diet is a diet that provides extremely low calories in order to produce significant weight loss. They can be unbalanced and cause problems.See 3 more doctor answers
Too much fiber: If you eat too much fiber without drinking enough water, your bowel can get constipated -- even obstructed if it's really bad. If you increase fiber more quickly than your system can manage, you can get abdominal cramps, gas, diarrhea, and intense urgency. Too much fiber could also mildly interfere with absorbing needed nutrients like calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc.
Healthy eating good!: Fatigue or sluggish is common. Eat a healthy diet to feel better. Make half your meal vegetables and fruits. Go for variety. Why: Who knows what's in otc diet pills. The fda doesn't know as it never checks them unless people begin to die. The better question is will it have any good effects, and the answer is no. You need to learn how to eat and exercise properly for the rest of your life, not a pill for an experiment. Don't get your medical info from tv or the internet.
Not too pleasant...: The main side effects of xenical are gastrointestinal related: cramping, burping, farting, oily stools - and they happen in up to 30% of people taking the medicine. If you significantly decrease the amount of fat you eat in your diet, you can amount of side effects you get!
What should be the diet for a low BP person? What are side effects of low bp? Is there any precautions!
How low: Depends on how low. Normal BP is 90 - 130 over 60 - 80. Some people chronically have BP a little lower, if it's always been that way and you feel fine, don't need to do anything about it. Check with your doctor.
I'm only 5'8 and 200 lbs. I'm wondering if I should take diet pills. What are the short term and long term side effects?
Trying to cut down sugar/sweets in my diet. Are there any alternative sweeteners that are safe and don't cause unpleasant side effects?
Erythritol, stevia: I agree with Dr. Jayaraj that stevia is a healthy alternative sweetener but not everyone likes its flavor. Erythritol may be the safest natural sweetener available and tastes more like sugar. See http://authoritynutrition. Com/erythritol/ Xylitol is another good choice, though large amounts may cause loose stools.See 1 more doctor answer
I'm taking Folitrax-10 for RA, I'd like to know the side-effects of the tablet. Also, could you suggest me a diet for RA? Is there any exercises?
Side effects: Folitrax does have several side effects affects the blood cells, liver and kidney. Patients need to be monitored periodically for these side effects through blood works. No special diet or exercise. Proper stretching and walking brisk as tolerated 30 mins /day to keep you fit. Avoid food that makes your symptoms worse.
I started a diet and exercise regimen in aug 2013. I've recently plateaued and I'm considering thinogenics but I'm a little scared of side effects.
Don't get: Your medical information from friends, tv or internet scams. Do you really think thinogenics would help you lose weight. Recently one of their products was found to contain sibutramine, a prescription weight loss drug that was taken off the market. Keep up your diet and exercise. You'll need to do it life long, check w/a good registered dietitian for assistance.
What do you advise if I was trying to do some research on the side effects for diet pills. And what would happen if a person younger than 18say 17 took them?
Well....: Since the chemicals in them are very similar to ritalin (methylphenidate) and other ADHD medications.... not generally all that bad. BUT needs to be controlled and regulated to watch for 1) inappropriate weight 2) addiction 3) growth stunting those happen. Cardiovascular and blood pressure effects which the drugs do, don't happen in young people except really really rarely.
