Likely No: The home pregnancy tests these days are very accurate, so if you have had two negatives tests, you are likely not pregnant. The biggest clue that you may be pregnant is if you have missed your period. If you continue to miss your period, see your ob/gyn or family physician to confirm you are not pregnant, and to run some other tests to see why you are missing your periods. ...Read more

Test 3 wks after sex: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed. ...Read more

Neg test = not preg: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more
Game plan: Length of your cycle: Day 1 is when there are first signs of coming on a period, count the days until the next period starts. The number of days of bleeding does not matter. Normal cycles are 25 - 32 days. You ovulate between 32 - 14 = 18 and 25 - 14 = 11. Sperm survives for 4+ days. Since you won't know how long your ongoing cycle will be, have sex on days 7, 9, 11, 13. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
