Some surgical procedures will narrow or tighten the vagina while others will not. Instead they will build up the support at the opening which in effect narrows the opening, making things more snug. Yes: Mesh is definitely not your only option. Doctors can suspend vagina wall from the inside/abdomen as well. If it were me, and i were 36 years of age, i would not recommend vaginal mesh in you. You are way too young. Of course pessary is an option too, in the meantime while you make a decision. Or for long term. See a urogynecologist, board certified, to make sure you are in the best hands. ...Read more
