Yes: Yes, in my opinion, 3 weeks in a neck brace is too long for a simple cervical strain. If you still need to wear a neck brace 3 weeks after injury, then further studies such an MRI should be considered. Not likely : Tendons are structures that muscles connect that then allow them to move various bones. Because the collar bone does not really move, there are not really any major tendons that insert much on them and so tendinitis is not a real common cause of clavicle pain. There are ligaments, joint capsules and even joints themselves that can be abnormal and can cause pain. Exam will likely reveal cause. ...Read more

Maybe: Depends what was the cause of these problem. I see very commonly patient that sustained an MVA or Motorcycle accident with pain in those areas that you referred. Could be a contusion or sprain of pectoralis muscles. Costochondritis could also be considered if pain in sternum/rib junction reproduced with palpation. ...Read more
