No worries: As prior X-ctry runner I suggest a General rule: when you run you'll experience various unpleasantness. If you keep running, and it continues or gets worse-STOP. Something serious is going on. Rest. Get it checked out. If you run and the feeling eases up or resolves, it's minor and won't affect you long term. Blood pressure: At your age, the blood pressure seems to be a bit high. The systolic (upper number) is fine but the diastolic (lower number) is high. The pulse is also fine during exercising. It also depends on what kind of exercises you do. Vigorous once can raise the pulse faster and to a higher rate. Please do not do anythign that makes you short of breath. Chronic pain: Have you had a dental check-up? Chronic bruxism...Grinding or clenching the teeth could cause the chronic pain you are having. Although usually stress related, many people clench their teeth during activities.
See your dentist for an examination. Try using a nightguard/splint when you run and during other activities, and at night to relieve the tension inyour TMJ and on your teeth. ...Read more

@ your age U should-: -C a cardiologist for a stress test 2 make sure Ur heart is ok 4 Ur running. May taste blood or snot, & this can B from heat, high humidity. As long as U don't spit blood U should B ok. Pulmonary hypertension can cause bleeding in the lungs, just like thuorbred horses that race. Heartbeat: Probably not a concern but I strongly recommend you see your primary doctor to confirm that all is OK.

Something or nothing: Sorry to be equivocal, but this could be something or could be unremarkable. A physical exam with attention to the carotid pulse (on both sides of neck) would be required to evaluate for carotid stenosis--which is narrowing of the inside of vessel usually due to cholesterol buildup found in older patients.
