Not related: You have a lot going on and i can only comment in general. Discomfort below the "adams apple" is not likely to be from the spine. The thyroid itself can hurt off and on with thyroiditis. There are specific blood tests for that. There are muscles and nerves in the neck that can be injured, stretched or irritated. No test will show that. Stick with your docs, avoid over examining and irritating it. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

What can I do if my thyroid nodule in my neck biospy came back bengin is there anything to worry about?
Needle or Surgical?: Was the biopsy a needle biopsy or an excisional surgical biopsy? If surgical, then the nodule was removed and it is benign and you probably have little to worry about. Sometimes a repeat biopsy is suggested or a followup sonogram of the nodule. ...Read more

If you have 6 nodules that you are watching, my guess is that they are smaller than this. You have a scheduled U/S on the 2nd of June? This will answer the question. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Generally not: Look for other causes. One uncommon cause is vocal cord dysfunction, which can feel just like an asthma attack, but is not relieved with inhalers. Esophageal spasm is another cause. Getting stuck on a preconceived diagnosis prevents the proper one from being made. See your doc, and describe your symptoms in detail to him, in order for the proper diagnosis to be made. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
