Lo of possibilities: You may have many different things causing this, but if you have chest pain with shortness of breath and pain up into neck I would seek medical attention as this may be your heart, despite being on your right side. A few possiblities: C1 or C2 (or both) could be 'stuck', causing pain. Several nerves in the region could be inflamed. Tiny muscles around vertebrae could be chronically contracted.
