Get an evaluation: This is caused by an increased mobility of C2 root which touches the hypoglossal nerve. Visit your doctor, get imaging in the area if needed. "Aseptic" meningitis: You probably have a viral infection causing irritation to the coverings around the brain/spinal cord. Good you don't have a major fever, but you should get checked by your primary physician. I don't think you have bacterial meningitis-you would be sicker (believe it or not).
