Hello. : Hello. Your symptoms might not be associated with your menstrual cycle. You may have gastroenteritis. Recommend that you drink liquids, even if you have to sip them to keep them down. Water and clear, non-carbonated beverages are best. It is important to stay ahead of your fluid losses from the vomiting, diarrhea and anticipated decrease in intake. If you find that you are becoming dizzy, your pulse rate is high, you get lightheaded when getting up, then it is likely that you are dehydrated. Pancreatitis: If this doesn't rapidly resolve with oral hydration and abstention from alcohol, i would suggest you see your pcp and or GI md to test you for pancreatitits. This sounds like the symptoms/results from an episode of binge drinking. ...Read more

Essentially yes !: Not eating can cause nausea and can also cause dehydration. Dehydration makes nausea worse. Nausea makes it hard to eat or drink. It can be a vicious cycle. Amitriptyline can possibly help with anxiety which would perhaps then reduce nausea, but can you keep it down? Can you keep down your thyroid replacement med ? Need to break this cycle with an anti-nausea drug to be able to eat/drink normal. ...Read more
