Possible Recheck: Multiple general symptoms can be viral, emotional or other. If they go away on their own, great. If they change or continue over 10 days, get rechecked as it may be more clear at that time. I sometimes wake up shortly after falling asleep with pressure moving from back of neck to over top of head and nausea. What is it?

Well, that can be: Tough. Do you grind your teeth at night? That can cause tension in back of neck. The nausea is hard to explain but try some zantac (ranitidine). U may be having some sort of unusual migraine in which case sumatryptan would help, gotta make sure sinuses ok. Check out terms bruxism, esophageal reflux. I usually only feel nausea when I lay down to go to sleep. I am almost fully asleep and then I wake up to sit up and take deep breaths or else I feel as though I may vomit. I tend to burp afterwards and then wait for it to calm down before sleeping.

Nausea: I assume pregnancy is not an issue. Nocturnal nausea may be caused by a hiatus hernia, gastroesophageal reflux, gastric retention or abnormally slow stomach emptying of food ingested before bedtime, certain medications like aspirin or Advil which can irritate the stomach lining or by intolerance to certain oily foods. Try not eating anything after supper. See a gastroenterologist as needed ...Read more

Need to be seen: The first thing that comes to mind is a possible infection but many things could be going on. You need a full history to begin with. Explanation: Too much for your age. Heart murmur and rapid heart rate need cardiology consult. May be it still benign at your age. Nausea without any abdominal pain may be nothing to worry about and just check your diet, especially junk food. Mirena (levonorgestrel): It sounds like you are having palpitations or some other abnormal cardiac rhythm. I doubt this is related to the Progesterone in the Mirena (levonorgestrel) as it has been in for six months. If the symptoms have been present the entire time, I would remove it. All during period?: Dysmenorrhea Tx: NSAID’s, SSRI’s, hormone meds, OTC meds containing diuretics, warm bath, heating pad, exercise & acupuncture are excellent for dysmenorrhea. Avoid caffeine, chocolate, alcohol & salt. Get GYN eval to R/O underlying pathology. Consider omega- 3 fatty acids, magnesium (supplementation or through diet) or Black Cohosh with dr ok. A few things: A few things come to mind. Low bp. It goes down when you sleep, so when you get up it drops and you feel sick. Taking naps drops your stress hormones (adrenaline and cortisol) which is a good thing, but if you are addicted to your own stress, a nap can mean low sugar. If you get vertigo as well it may be inner ear.
Migraines can b triggered by naps. Bottom line, do your 7-8h sleep @ pm ; c md. ...Read more

More info needed: More information needed. This sounds like low blood sugar. Do you have diabetes? ?? family history???

Could be...: Most likely this could be related to a virus and it may last for a few days especially if you are having other symptoms like fever, body aches, chills, cough, runny nose, diarrhea. For that the treatment is drinking plenty of fluids and rest.
