Bioidentical hormone: The symptoms of perimenopause are mainly due to either Estradiol deficiency or Progesterone deficiency, or both. Taking vitamins doesn't help the production of these hormones. Look into bioidentical hormone replacement. Also, get a thorough evaluation to make sure there isn't another cause of your symptoms, for example, thyroid deficiency. ...Read more

Yes: They have overlapping symptoms. Best to do now is to replace the b12 which is easily done. Once level is normal, you can take b12 def off the table and see what other symptoms remained. ...Read more
