Yes and no: Vit c in normal doses does not impact BP meds. Orange juice and other sweet liquids (all juice, soda, gatorade, etc) will increase your blood pressure - this will cause a relative decrease in the effectiveness of your meds. Same chemical but...: Both natural & synthetic vit. C are the same chemical, ascorbic acid, so most feel there's no difference but most synthetic is from gmo corn, which i feel is wise to avoid. Vitamin C is: generally good for you. If you take too much you may get the runs. Daily maintenance dose would be one 1K tab in the a.m. and one 1K tab in the p.m. It only lasts in your body for about 12 hours so whatever you take needs to be in divided doses.
