NSAID, etc.: The most common reason for ulcers in the intestines is from nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (nsaids, ibuprofen, naproxen, et.). Other possibilities include crohn's disease, or many other possibilities, including infections. If this is NSAID induced, the treatment is avoidance of nsaids. If this is infection, it will resolve. If you see no blood or black bm's and are not more pale or get dizzy, it may not be an emergency. The longer away from the bleed the less likely they will be able to give you a reason for it.
