Natural Treatment For Slightly Bulky Cervix
What are the treatment options for postmenopausal bleeding? I had a biopsy and ultrasound. No cancer but uterine walls are thicker than gyn likes.
Depends: In general no treatment for a uterus that is just bulky. It really depends on why you had the ultrasound and what your plans are for children. Mild uterine enlargement is often times associated with adenomyosis and fibroids, but can also be seen in an early pregnancy before the gestation is visible. More info is really needed to answer your question. ...Read more

What is the treatment for a 2 CM anterior wall uterine fibroid and will it affect you having kids in the future?
Maybe nothing: Uterine fiborids are quite common, especially in african american women. Often they don't cause much problem, but some women may experience painful and heavy menstrual periods, causing anemia etc..Progestin only birth controls may help a bit. They do shrink after menopause. If you have excessive symptoms, consult doc for treatment--few options available. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Is fibroid curable with medicine..Or need surgery?I have 64mm posterior wall fibroid.Which is better for me?
Does it bother you?: At 6cm, the question is, does the fibroid bother you? Cause you pain? Affect your menstrual cycle? If it's not bothering you, then you don't need surgery at all. If it's bothering you, then likely yes. If it encroaches on inside of lining, then hysteroscopy is best, otherwise, consider laparoscopic myomectomy. Medicines help, but only for awhile, typically grows back. Hope that helps! ...Read more
My usg report is bulky uterus with thickened endometrium and pap report sever inflammatory smear dr please say about treatment, is it cancer of uterus ?
Bulky uterus with large posterior intramural fibroid which treatment is suitable surgery or laparoscope plz suggest me?
Depends: Treatment for large fibroid depends on a few factors. If you have completed child bearing, a hysterectomy done by laparoscopy (robotically) or open is appropriate depending on size and availability of technology. On the contrary, you can preserve the uterus by doing a myomectomy (scope or open). Minimally invasive is the preferable way to achieve either procedure. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I had cancer of the cervix, and the radiation treatment threw me into early menopause. Is there a natural alternative to hormones?
Ovarian Cysts: First choice is Metformin, 500 mg three times daily. Also try the herb Berberine, 500 mg three times daily. Topical Progesterone cream, 20-60 mg per day may help. Some use progesterone cream daily--others prefer to "cycle" to mimic normal rhythms (apply days 10-24 of the menstrual cycle). ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
How does a gynocologist choose between rec for endo biopsy vs d&c? For pt w/cancer hx, thickened endo wall, fibroid, cervical bump, shall i go4 d&c?
Purpose will be same: D&c kept the gold standard for a century , where cervix is dilated and plenty of endometrium is scraped for biopsy, is quick and needs anesthesia. Where endometrial biopsy a catheter is inserted and suction biopsy is done most of the time with sedation in the office , both will get endometrium for biopsy , ask gyn doc will tell which will be better for a reason. ...Read more
