Options: Always talk to your pediatrician before starting an herbal or new medication. Chamomille drops can be very helpful for getting little ones to nod off. Just be aware that there are some children who have paradox reactions who actually become more awake. A soothing bath with lavender can be a good quieting night time routine. My children still like soft & gentle lullabyes. ...Read more
Many: Teas made with chamomile, lemon grass, lavender and other herbs can be quite soothing and safe to use. For small children I've used tincture of chamomile which you give with a dropper. There are homeopathic sleep aids made by boiron and hylands that are safe and helpful. All of these are available at a variety of health food stores and on line. And don't forget warm milk; not an old wive's tale. ...Read more
Lisp 4 cold: I don't know what lmsp is but you must realize that there are no meds which cure a cold. The only claim made is that it will make you feel better. What do you suggest if I would like to go off my anti psychotics and take herbal antipsychotics. How many days will it take to finaly sleep after going off?

There is high chance you will get very sick off your medication. If you are having problems or side effects from your antipsychotic, tell your doctor because there are many antipsychotics out there tha can make you feel better. ...Read more
I take 10mg of Ambien (zolpidem) a night. I can't sleep without it have tried all herbal & melatonin. My Ambien (zolpidem) doesn't work if I have eaten anything within 6hrs?
Tolerance: Ambien (zolpidem) fails to work forever. It is a dangerous and unhealthy choice for chronic sleep problems. It does not allow one taking it to get full rest or to get natural sleep cycles. Using it daily leads to addiction. Addiction leads to tolerance and the drug becomes ineffective. You are not born with an "ambien' deficiency. Learning how to sleep naturally is the goal here. Please consider no ambie. ...Read more
