Also, some women do "natural cycle" IUI (no drugs), while others use fertility drugs. The success rates average about 10% per attempt (no drugs) and up to 25-30% per cycle with meds. ...Read more

A speculum exam is done (like a Pap smear), the cervix prepped, and a very small soft catheter (tubing) inserted through the cervix to introduce the sperm. Most specialists put sperm inside the uterus (IUI), although it can also be deposited in the cervix (ICI). Most women describe the procedure as trivial to minor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Overview here ...: First you choose either an anonymous egg donor (usually under 30) or a known donor. The donor is tested for egg supply, infections, genetic or psychological issues. When you are ready, the donor receives shots to make multiple eggs then has eggs removed. The eggs are fertilized in the lab with your partner's sperm, grow into embryos, and the best 1-2 embryos are replaced. Any extras can be frozen. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
