Chikungunya: treatment is largely symptomatic in nature. There is no vaccine to prevent it & no specific treatment for it. Rest, hydration and Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications are recommended. Skin discoloration may occur which can be treated w topical corticosteroids (use sunscreen).
