I've been taking 600mg of magnesium citrate everyday for the last month. What side effects should I be aware of?

What?: Why did you take a medication not knowing what it does/is for? Magcitrate treats constipation. It usually is "effective" within 6 hrs, if going to see results. It depends!: If you are saying that mag citrate does not work for constipation, then you have a severe constipation ie need a doctor to evaluate and rule out the possibility of other causes including rarely cancer colon. But if you are saying it did not work for preventing kidney stones, then the causes are different!
