Nasty Tasting Phlegmy Throat
I've made a phlegmy throat for a while now and I've noticed a bitter taste at the back of my throat after drinking water. Could the two be related?
Maybe: New throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from another cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the throat symptom is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). The doctor can also look for a sinus infection. ...Read more

I have coffee + milk every morning. Lately, I've noticed that if I have two cups, my throat feels a little phlegmy and strange -- could I be lactose?
Maybe: Symptoms of lactose intolerance are generally cramping/bloating of the abdomen, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and gas. They are highest in ethnic groups and lowest in caucasians. A simple test from a doctor can reveal if you are truly lactose intolerant or not. All the best! ...Read more

13mths old bronchiti: Have you taken the baby to the pediatrician. If not you should have the baby checked. A common complication of an infection with the cold virus is a BRONCHITIS which can result in hyper-reactvity of the small air passages resulting in a wheeze and mutilple "noises" in your chest. Drink lots of fluids and ask your Health Care Provider if an inhaler might be helpful.!!!!!

I french kissed with the masseuse from a massage parlour. What are my chances of std? When should I get checked? .scared! Phlemy throat after 3hrs of kiss
Doctor can check: A person who has a "phlegmy" throat and is worried about it can see his primary care doctor for an evaluation. Many things can cause throat symptoms, such as strep bacteria, cold viruses, allergens, obsessing about one's throat, etc... Just being a masseuse does not equate to being a carrier of STD's. Kissing is not the main way to transmit STD's. Otherwise, they would be called KTD's, not STD's. ...Read more
