Can a slightly narrow urethra in a man cause chronic non-std epidymitis? I keep getting it and that is my only real thing wrong with me. All tests neg
Doubtful: I doubt slight urethral narrowing would cause epididymitis. But I wonder if you have recurrent epididymitis at all. If you don't have obvious enlargement and marked tenderness of a single testicle, epididymitis is unlikely. It rarely causes just testicular pain or discomfort without swelling, and rarely both testicles at once. Maybe chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS)? Google it for more info. ...Read more
Scope showed narrow urethra and inflammation. On cipro (ciprofloxacin) for 3 weeks and antiinflammatories, when will the urgency go away? Urethra was dilated 2 weeks ago.
Difficult to predict: You have had a lot of physiological trauma and it is difficult for that area to recover quickly. It is worth taking the phenazopyyridine (azo) for relief even though it will cause your urine to turn red orange. Cover yourself for yeast as well since you have had cipro (ciprofloxacin). Avoid being on top during sex in the future as that may cause trauma as well. Betadine douches can be helpful. ...Read more

Strattera (atomoxetine): Just saw your question. I agree with the first answer: stop the adhd meds and go and see your doctor. Just wanted to add that ur description looks like the side-effects of stattera. Er docs are aware of those as it may produce accute testicular pain not to be confused with the pain of testicular torsion. Hope u are already feeling better. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I had a CT scan and it showed that the urethral tube that goes from the right kidney to the bladder is severely narrowed! What might the Dr. say?
Depends on: degree and length of narrowing, your symptoms, cause of the abnormality, function of the other kidney, your general health, and a host of other factors. Options are to do nothing now, place a stent, surgical correction, or kidney removal. Discuss with a urologic surgeon the best way to handle your problem. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
