Other medications: If Ibuprofen doesn't help, you can try other nsaids. There are other pain medications like anti-seizure medication, muscle relaxants .... They can be used for nerve pain. If your pain persists, i recommend seeing a doctor for evaluation. ...Read more

I'm an addict foremost. Is there anything for pain in between nsaids and narcotics? Tordol works but why can it only be used sparingly?

Stomach: Toradol is just a strong nsaid; try tylenol (acetaminophen) with aleve, they work by differing mechanisms. If you have chronic pain problems you may benefit from a low dose of suboxone. Pain issues can be pert of a spectrum of mood problems and may be linked to addiction and mood. Also the snri class of antidepressant is good for pain.
