Dr. Tom heston faafp, fasnc, facnm is it ok to take wellbutrin, pristiq, and savella (milnacipran) together?
I am not Dr Heston, : And in my opinion, that combination is very good as long as those medications work together to relieve the symptoms of depression, anxiety and chronic pain. When the illness is severe enough, combining several agents is more effective, causes less side effects, although it can be more costly and cumbersome to maintain the treatment. Hope this answer to your question while awaiting for dr heston's. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

So, doctors of healthtap are saying that no topical helps with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation? How does anyone trust doctors? Derm says otherwise
Not quite right: Retin-A does not help pigmentation problems, but the docs on this board also know & say that there is treatment for pigmentation problems- hydroxyquinone is 1 of them. The Dermesse (Obagi) programs use both to help skin tone, wrinkles, and pigmentaation problems and superficial scarring. There are other skin programs out there. Other docs besides dermatologists have an interest in aesthetics ...Read more

Is magnesium blend good to take with korean red ginseng? - Also are most products alright with korean red ginseng?
Ginseng ..: I think it says everything that red ginseng is believed to BOTH increase and decrease the immune system. There are not reliable trials on it. It is not possible to really control what you are getting with it. Magnesium, however, is a mineral and unless they are totally lying, the content of it should be reliable and it can't stale. 200-400 mg/day is good. ...Read more
Unknown, uncertain: Velvet bean extract is in some products (in uncertain amounts), but since they are not medications approved by the fda, the products are probably not tested for interactions with medications such as parkinson's meds. So, that means nobody really knows what effects or interactions there are. If an velvet bean "product" user thinks he is getting an interaction, he can visit his primary care doctor. ...Read more
