I'm not: Sure what your question is, but your TSH that is slightly elevated indicates your thyroid is beginning to fail. There is variable opinion on when to begin treatment with brand name T4 replacement, but almost certainly the problem will continue to worsen (and never correct itself) so why not begin the lifelong replacement now? Other causes: Agree with dr. Villaplana. You might have to live with normal thyroid level for awhile to see the effects. However, if the symptoms are still there despite normal thyroid hormone level, then it's probably something else that is causing the symptoms and not the low thyroid anymore. ...Read more

Need blood tests: I doubt that any of your symptoms have to do with your expired IUD but still it would be good to get it out. You definitely need to see your physician to get some blood tests to see if you have a thyroid or other problem causing your symptoms. ...Read more
