Hello, does Nabumetone eliminate the inflammation after a few days, or does it just masks the pain for a few days?

Does nabumetone 500 actually help with pain ? I just got mine filled took two that was about 3 hrs ago and I am still in pain.
Nabumetone: First, you are on the lower dose. For most types of arthritis, I use two 750 mg tablets. Perception is a problem! Nabumetone is a pro-drug, inactive when swallowed, and then finally metabolized by the liver into an active drug. Since this takes time, poor drug for a headache.
