Depends : If you need anything surgically removed, it will probably hurt a little. It also depends on how big the cyst and its location. The worst part of most minor surgeries when they numb the area with lidocaine. There is usually the sharpness of the needle and then the burn of the medication, but afterwards the area should be numb for the rest of the procedure.
