Hi docs a friend of mine as myelitis and she's paralyze from the waist down shes getting treatment little advances. Is there any natural way to help?

Needless : Needless to say, i assume the cause of your transverse myelitis was investigated, and you don't have an underlying infection. That being said, have you tried acupuncture? Also, one of the hard lessons we have learned from pain management clinics is that the mistake we continue to make in trying to manage pain is we try one thing, when that doesn't work or isn't enough, we abandon that and try something else. When that isn't enough, we abandon that and then do something else. What we should be doing is add a different treatment modality to the first, and if that's not enough, add a third, and so on. It turns out that 2+2=5 when it comes to pain management, and it might take a combination of medication, physical therapy, tens treatment, acupuncture and perhaps a trigger point or spinal injection to get you to a point where you can live comfortably.
