If tested positive for unreaplasma/mycoplasma after treatment could I be reinfected by someone w/o this infection.. Will I always have this infection ?
Normal bacteria: These are normal bacteria in the genital tract; at any time, half of all sexually active people have them. They are shared sexually, but rarely cause symptoms or disease. No treatment is needed for them. it is normal for them to reappear after treatment. You do not have "an infecion"; you are simply carrying normal bacteria. Harmless, not an STD: Mycoplasma hominis is a normal bacteria in the genital tract. It can be shared among sex partners, but causes no disease and is not considered an STD. Whatever symptoms you have, M. hominis is not the cause and I cannot imagine a good reason why you might have been tested for it. What is the best way to treat mycoplasma? My wife is trying to decide between antibiotics and herbal treatments.

Doubt mycoplasma: Mycoplasma pneumoniae causes respiratory infections, but it's not a common cause of sore throat or inflamed nodes in the neck. This sounds more like a garden variety viral infection, and no antibiotic will help. Or maybe strep throat?
