See an ID doctor: If you are an adult, not diabetic or on antibiotics or steroids and have thrush you must be tested for HIV disease and have your immunity assessed. Thrush seldom occurs in normal adults, and particularly when it fails to respond to standard treatment it is an ominous sign.See 2 more doctor answers

Clotrimoxazole: No. This is not a reported side-effect of topical application of this medication.
It varies: It may take 7-10 days. Sometimes, different medications may need to be tried.
Been on clotrimazole for oral thrush for 5 days, not clearing up, seems to be getting worse. Have dr. Appt tomorrow morning but shouldn't it be better?
Thrush: Possibly; may not be thrush; might need a swab or culture of the white exudate within the mouth to confirm diagnosis.
5-7 days: I would expect improvement in irritation symptoms in a day or two and complete healing in 5-7 days.
Do I keep using clotrimazole 2% cream if male thrush has not cleared up after 2weeks & does it stop burning of male thrush?
Phimosis?: Failure to improve on 2 weeks clotrimazole likely means the problem isn't a yeast infection (thrush); maybe bacterial or nonspecific balanitis. Or perhaps a yeast type resistant to "azole" drugs. You list tight foreskin (phimosis) as a medical condition, and you might need surgery e.g. circumcision to get over this. See a urologist, or consider one of UK's excellent NHS GUM clinics. Good luck.
Used clotrimazole pessary to treat thrush last night. Discharge is coming out coral coloured. Should I be worried?
Probably not: Without seeing and examining you it is impossible to be sure, but suspect that this will clear as your infection clears.

Besides, it's not infrequent to use somewhat differently at physician's discretion for individual need. Note: Practicing medicine isn't always yes or not, but is being reasonable to... So, ask Doc timely if still in doubt.
DERMATITIS: It will take a few days to a week.

It: It is generally not recommended that Clotrimazole and Migranal (dihydroergotamine) be taken together. The combination can cause higher levels of Migranal (dihydroergotamine) in the blood and a few cases of toxicity have been reported. Luckily, no problems have been reported with the Clotrimazole lozenges though a theoretical risk exists. Symptoms of toxicity include numbness, tingling, abdominal pain, chest pain, muscle cramps and rapid pulse. If you are feeling any of these call your doctor or go to the emergency room. Good luck!
