Is smz-tmp 200-40/5 sus hi-t good to take for a bad cough? My daughter is 4yrs old and i need to know if i can use this as cough medicine?
No. : No. That medication is the antibiotic Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) and it is not used for cough. You should never give your child any prescription medications without discussing it with your child's doctor first, unless the doctor just gave you that medicine for the child's current illness. There really aren't any safe cough medicines available for babies, toddlers or young children. The best things you can give are a spoonful of honey to "coat the throat' (as long as the child is over 1 year old!), hot tea with honey and lemon, and lots of fluids. If your child is having any difficulty breathing, develops a fever, or seems to be getting worse instead of better, call your child's doctor. It is safe to use Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for my perfume esence allergy? At my highschool, almost everyone uses a perfume and it will be very hard for me. I am 16.
Try other options: Perfumes cause local irritation in the nose and eyes, which leads to symptoms very similar to allergies. But what you are experiencing is not a true allergic reaction. So Benadryl (diphenhydramine) may not be very helpful, and can make you sleepy. Try over the counter Zyrtec or Allegra and if still not better, then you will need to go see a doctor for prescription nose sprays. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My daughter takes adderal for adhd. And just found out she is pregnant, is it safe for her to keep taking the medicine?
Probably not: It depends on the degree of disability she has with adhd. She needs to discuss its continued use with her prescribing doctor and ob. It's a question of risk to benefit. Many women have had normal babies while on adderall, (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) but the best practice is to take no medications during pregnancy if possible. It carries a pregnancy category c rating indicating unknown safety status during pregnancy. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Since my son is only 4 and its hard for me to get help for him is there any way I can tell that he has aggrisive adhd?
You certainly can: By staying calm. Overreacting to your child's behavior or response to ur command isn't going to get u anywhere. They will overreact and become"defiant " and it will escalate and get into your nerves now making you angrier and mad. Therefore nothing accomplished only fuming parent. Conclusion adhd, defiant kid, brat , whatever you call it. Talk to them calmly and make it a game and fun. Shd work! ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
How important is tummy time? My daughter is almost 3 months old and hates it! is it okay to let her scream for a few? Are there any alternatives?
For ex-preemies & : Infants with developmental delays, it's very important for quality of movement as well as attainment of gross & fine motor milestones. . For a neurotypical, term infant, i'd try different textured mats & quilts on the floor, put large red or orange toys with faces in front of her, & lie down to make eye contact while smiling, talking & manipulating the toys for ~ 10 min at a time. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
