Reflux: Thicken her foods, never over feed, offer small more frequent feeds, do not feed her lying down. Have her eat more solids. It generally improves once babies have the ability to sit alone. See ENT: The facial swelling might be due to steroids even though this would be uncommon side effect from a short-term high dose quick taper of steroids. If your hoarseness was caused by vocal cord edema, you would have noticed some improvement. Shoulder pain/hoarse: Your shoulder symptoms sound like scapular dysfunction. The muscles that support and move the shoulder blade are complex and work in very close association with the rest of your shoulder to allow proper movement of the shoulder.
