Acidic foods: Pineapple is a very acidic and rough food to eat. It is very common for this to bother your tongue after eating it. It happens to me. I doubt your response is an allergy. Thyroid: Was it removed surgically or ablated with radioactive iodine? When was TSH last checked? Med dose may be low, but should also follow-up with oncologist to make sure cancer did not spread.
