I don't have a sore throat but I did recently have nasal congestion due to allergies. The congestion is gone but my ear hurts a lot when I swallow.

I always suffer from sore throat and inflammation that cause ear pain and difficulty in swallowing. When i make rps it becomes high as 14.9.

Be concerned: Not sure what rps is. The presence of throat pain radiating to the ear can mean an infection, throat ulcer, tumor, neuralgia, thyroid inflammation or tumor, vocal cord arthritis, etc. With your symptoms i assume the worst so suggest ENT exam of throat. ...Read more

I have sore throat and ear pain on and off for a couple months. Recently I feel painful when swallowing in throat and also pain in post-nasal.

Months: If your symptoms are on and off for months you may have sinusitis - either from infection, irritants or allergens. Try using nasal saline (basically salt water) 8-10 times a day for a week or so and see if the symptoms improve or resolve completely.
