My husband has these bulging veins on his stomach that have just appeared in the last couple of years. Started with one vein and now 2 more.?

Cirrhosis: Usually when you see abdominal veins of cirrhosis your stomach/abdomen is bulging w/ fluid. So if you abdomen is flat it is unlikely. Generally you wouldn't see the veins so there is blood backing up from the liver. Fatty liver occurs commonly and does not necessarily mean anything. Most commonly it is connected to intake of things that become fat (including alcohol).
