Ascites can be due to significant liver disease, infection, perforation of the gut, trauma to an organ with bleeding, or even cancer. Intestinal blockage, if present, risks rupture, peritonitis, death. Please get evaluated now. ...Read more

Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

No penetration. Fluids outside. 4 months regular periods. Abdomen feels slightly swollen but not very tight. No pregnancy test yet. No other symptoms.

Unclear question: If you had a period after you episode of"fluid outside" you are not pregnant. If you miss your period by 4-5 days, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.

Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

"Any: "any woman between 8 and 80 with abdominal pain is pregnant until proven otherwise! " that is drilled into us in training. Have you taken any home pregnancy tests? When was your last menstrual period?
