Ask your doctor: Asking other physicians to give their blessings for you to take medication not prescribed by them is like a teacher asking your neighbor if they'd give permission to your son to go on a field trip. Do you think that's acceptable or would you take issue with the teacher who disrespected your authority as parent? Make sense? Give your doctor first dibs at correcting any problem caused by the Zoloft (sertraline) ...Read more

I have bloating and upper abdomen discomfort that causes inner throat discomfort. My bowel movements are regular until a dau ago. What could this be?

Poor digestion: It could be a sign of reflux where the door that closes at the entrance to the stomach is lose. This would allow your stomach acid to get into the esophagus and that would cause bloating and inner throat to be uncomfortable. Betaine plus right before a meal can help this. I would recommend getting the ph level of the stomach done. ...Read more
