I have a sense of pressure and fullness in my uterus/lower left abdomen, sometimes painful, what is this caused by? I am 22 and I am not pregnant. It sometimes hurts during intercourse.

Your : Your symptoms could represent a few different processes. First of all you need to be checked for a UTI (urinary tract infection). Your doctor can rule this out with a simple urine test. Lastly, you could be dealing with ovarian cysts or even uterine fibroids (benign tumors of the uterus). There are multiple possibilities. I recommend a visit with your primary care provider or gyn for a complete evaluation. Best of luck. ...Read more

Make sure you had a colonoscopy also. ...Read more
