I'm 4 months pregnant my ribs ache bad and burn under my breast! my legs get this horrible feeling at night someone says its restless legs what can I do?
Pilllows & pad: Wen lying down place pillows under the knee or between your knees when lying on your side. The uterus is growing and pressing on the blood vessels and nerves to your legs. A heating pad also works. Try not to lay on your back for prolonged periods of time to release the pressure of the uterus on those vital structures. ...Read more
I'm gettin aches in my low back, buttocks, hips, thighs, knees, just below my knees & my ankles & I keep gettin pain in my palm cud it all be linked?
Couple things...: This could be the start of osteoarthritis, stress fractures, or even carpal tunnel syndrome. Any of these things could cause problems when you lift weights. If you have pain and tingling in your hands, more likely carpal tunnel syndrome. If this continues, i would recommend xrays and physical exam. May need MRI or bone scan depending on findings. Hope this helps and best of luck! ...Read more

When i lay flat on my back and hold my breath i can see my heart beat in my lower abdomen aneurysm? I am very hypervigilant. 27 yo male
Probably not: If you are not obese it would not be abnormal to see the pulse of your aorta as it runs thru your abdomen transmitted thru your organs to your abdominal wall. This is probably normal. Aneurysms are usually a problem of older people or people with certain connective tissue diseases. Rarely they are there from birth. If you feel a pulsatile mass have it checked . Your primary can examen you. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

For 3 yrs I have intense pain in my back rt. Lower rib cage about 2.5 inches from spine. Can a cortizone (hydrocortisone) injection help; hurts when i lay on my back?
Yes: It is possible it could help if the pain is from an irritated nerve that may be exiting your spine or irritated rib head. However, all other issues, including liver and gallbladder should be ruled out first. Consider manual manipulation and physical therapy as well. Physical exam is very important in your case to show exactly what pain is from. May need imaging to clarify. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Does sharp pain in my mid back and shoulders mean cardiac problems? The muscles hurt my back when I lift my arms. Neg cardiac test 1 yr ago. Anxiety?
No: Heart pain never hurts just the back and shoulders- it may radiate to the back when it starts in the chest and becomes severe. The observation that lifting your arms provokes it is a good indication that the pain is muscular (not nerves). Rest, heat, and analgesics (like ibuprofen) will most likely help. Avoid heavy lifting and try to maintain good posture (i.e. avoid spells of leaning forward) ...Read more

4 mths ribcage pain toward my back. grinding sound in ribs when I raise my shoulders. X-ray, physio, chiro, massage no help. back looks discoloured ?
The muscles around lower back, neck, spine, shoulders, shoulder blades, & ribs hurt. Have tried PT/hot/cold/exercise/meds - no help. What should I do?
Consider Massage &PT: the first thing we need to figure out is why. We need to learn more about your spine, do an exam, get xrays and learn more about your work, sports and trauma if any. Many people see a Chiropractor or sports medicine doc who will do an exam and get imaging. If massage, stretching and exercise dont help a formal course of Physical therapy may be appropriate. If all this fails an MRI is indicated. ...Read more
