I can't do things like cross arms, legs, comb hair, hold phone, push ups w/out some form of paresthesia. How is that anxiety? Xanax doesn't stop it. I'm not panicking. I have popping in hand, shoulder blade that shoots pins and needles down arm.

Anxiety or medical?: A diagnosis of anxiety as a cause of physical symptoms can only be made when medical causes have been ruled out. Suggest you see your pcp for an evaluation of paresthesias. That said, anxiety can cause numerous physical symptoms even without conscious panicky thoughts because of the body's response to an adrenaline surge via the "fight or flight" reaction. ?: Not sure what you mean by locking up. You may be simply fatiguing your muscles. If you hit a limit, stop and rest and then resume. You will be more effective doing less reps with breaks in between then powering thru till complete fatigue and max reps every time. Even tho U think it-: -is strange think about it. Push ups stress the posterior capsule of the shoulder. In chin ups U stress the anterior capsule. So if U have any stability it could B the problem. U also could start with wall push-ups 2 strengthen Ur muscles. They may not B as strong as U think. If U also strengthen Ur core it will help. With good strong stabilizers it May solve it.
