I have painful shoulder crunching and have begun to experience limited mobility accompanied by pain when I twist my back?
My shoulder made a poppin noise and now it hurts....i know its not dislocated cause I can move it ok.....what could it be?
Could be a Rotator -:
Cuff tendon injury, bursitis, tendonitis, or even a shoulder joint subluxation (when joint doesn't dislocate completely but partially), so producing the popping sound and still having full motion as the joint probably self-reduced. Any of the above mentioned possibilities can result in Tendonitis or bursitis.
See an Orthopod and get investigated.

Have him checked.: Could be rotator cuff injury or tendinopathy or problem in the joint itself. If his movement is limited and it has been going on for a month, would be better to have it checked out. An exam by orthopedics, sports medicine or rheumatology may tell. Treatable problem in most cases. ...Read more

Shoulder: It's possible that you may have slept wrong or you may have a little bit of rotator cuff tendinitis. If symptoms persist or you're not able to take anti-inflammatory medications, see your physician for diagnosis and treatment. ...Read more
